Calculation of electrodynamic forces in 250 A circuit breaker
Görig, Michal ; Dohnal, Petr (referee) ; Valenta, Jiří (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with the calculation of electrodynamic forces breaker BD250NE305. Main tasks in this semester project is to study the theoretical analysis of individual parts specified breakers. Processing theoretical analysis of these forces. Creating a 3D model current path and sheets quenching chamber single phase circuit breaker in Autodesk Inventor Professional 2012. Another challenge is the subsequent export the model into the simulation program ANSYS Maxwell. After simulation, the specified conditions must be processed and the results of the present work is to evaluate.
Influence of skin effect, proximity effect and air gap on winding losses of HF inductors and transformers
Pitner, Tomáš ; Cipín, Radoslav (referee) ; Martiš, Jan (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis deals with power losses in the windings of high-frequency inductors and transformers. A detailed mathematical and qualitative analysis of the skin effect, proximity effect and leakage flux of air gap is performed, supplemented with the results of computer simulations using the finite element method. The thesis introduces analytical and numerical methods for calculating power losses in the windings of inductors and transformers and describes suitable measurement methods, which are further used in the thesis. For selected geometries of inductors and transformers, AC resistances of their windings are calculated using FEM and the results are compared with measurements on constructed prototypes. The winding geometries are also compared between each other.
Skin effect in high-speed electrical machines.
Klíma, Petr ; Bárta, Jan (referee) ; Mach, Martin (advisor)
This master thesis deals with the suppression of the skin and proximity effects in high-speed machines. The first part summarizes the general knowledge of high-speed machines. The second part is devoted to the principle and possible suppression of consequences caused by skin and proximity effects. The third part shows the simulation results of models of a synchronous machine with permanent magnets. The results of these simulations reveal the consequences of skin and proximity effects. In addition, design measures are proposed to limit these and other undesirable phenomena to achieve the highest possible efficiency.
Magnetic loop antenna with electronic tuning for frequencies below 30MHz
Burda, Miroslav ; Láčík, Jaroslav (referee) ; Urbanec, Tomáš (advisor)
This project deals with electronic tuning and automated adjustment of magnetic loop antennas, working in the High Frequencys. The whole work is divided into three parts tuning, adjustment and control). The tuning part is realized by changing the capacity of the array capacitors and adjustment is done by different changes of power points. The whole system is controlled by a microprocessor ATmega16. According to utility switches the microprocessor capacity, which tunes the antenna to the required frequency, processes information about power adjustment and fine-tuning the antenna by changing the position of charging.
Special small induction motor
Trubák, Vojtěch ; Mach, Martin (referee) ; Hájek, Vítězslav (advisor)
This term paper is focused on theory and calculation of an induction motor with solid rotor. It is divided into six chapters, the first one being an introduction and the last being a conclusion. Second chapter is dedicated to magnetism. There is briefly description of a skin depth of a conductor and calculation method for impedance of a conductive solid. Third chapter is focused on theory of an induction machines, their construction, equivalent circuit and some of their properties. Fourth chapter is dedicated to calculation of an induction motor with solid rotor and its parameters. Fifth chapter is comparing results of calculation done in fourth chapter for an already existing motor with measured values.

Magnetic Loop Antenna with Electronic Tuning for Frequencies below 30MHz
Svoboda, Luděk ; Vágner, Petr (referee) ; Urbanec, Tomáš (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor's project was realization of a tuning system with complete software and testing of the system's functionality and parameters of antenna. The system is divided into two parts, tuner and controller. The tuner implements change of circuit capacity by switching capacitor series. For switching is used transistor with small transitional capacity but small maximal collector current, too. This parameter restricts the use of system. The second part, controller, uses microcontroller AT89C2051. The microcontroller switches capacitors (and thus sets frequency) according to requests sent from PC with control software. The functionality was checked by tests with network analyzer.
